Operating a home business, seasonal window painting, I wanted to come up with a new design that was simple and beautiful. I remembered seeing some great work in Las Vegas many years ago that used only blue and white. This is an easy design that just about anybody can paint. This article gives step-by step instructions. Start with a sketch on the window, in crayon. In this picture, I have 3 trees, the white ground, and a few snowflakes. To draw the ground, draw a gently curved horizontal line. Next, draw the trees. You can have as many trees as you like, but I like odd numbers. Make youe trees BIG so they can be seen from far away. Almost fill the window! Draw the trees. This primitive sketch shows you how: Begin with a triangle, or inverted ice cream cone. Now draw 5 or 6 arcs, as shown, across the cone. Add a few lines to complete the sketch and you are ready
