How Do You Follow The Yellow Brick Road?
The road that leads home is golden because being lost is scary whether you’re a toy, dog or human. My aunt stayed lost in a big city for 6 hours one day but unlike Dorothy, clicking her heels didn’t work. If you’ve ever been on vacation or moved to a new area you’ve probably found yourself misplaced a time or two but if you haven’t yet, here are some tips to help you follow the yellow brick road… Stay Calm. Remember, if dogs can find their way back home over miles and miles so can you. Crying and getting upset only makes matters worse. You haven’t dropped off the face of the Earth so chances are you’re not that far off from where you need to be. Stop and ask for directions. That goes for men too. Don’t stop just anywhere to ask or you may find someone who’s craving Gretel Soup. If by chance you’ve driven into a bad neighborhood get out and stop somewhere safe. A post office, a well lit convenience store or if you’re in a big city, ask a cab driver. They should all know the area well.
