How Do You Fold Paper Fortune Tellers?
Do you remember those childhood fortune tellers that had messages hidden under flaps of paper? These fortune tellers are a fun icebreaker or an enjoyable entertainment for children. Making these paper fortune tellers is not difficult, but yields great fun once completed. Start with a perfectly square piece of paper. If you have a rectangle piece of paper, then fold the paper in half to make a triangle. Make sure the fold is a diagonal and not straight across making another rectangle. If you folded the paper as a triangle, a thin remainder of paper should stick out beyond the fold. Cut this remainder off, and you have a perfect square. Fold in the four corners of the square. If you fold in all the corners properly, they should meet together in the center. The final result should look like a diamond or an even smaller square. Turn the square over and fold again.
