There are some things in life that should be easy, but they aren’t … like folding a plastic bag. The problem is that the bag is easily susceptible to blowing in the wind, or not lying flat. Here are some tips on how to fold a plastic bag next time you are doing anything, from camping to packing a school lunch. Lay the plastic bag out. Depending how large the bag is, you may have to do this outside. Spread each corner as far as it will g,o and let the bag settle until its shape (usually square or rectangle) is set. Weight the opening of the bag with rocks or paperweights. Put them on each side so that the opening of the bag won’t move around on you. Bring the bottom corners of the bag to the top corners on the bag, and then place the bottom corners under the weights as well. Press the air out of the bag by starting at the bottom of the bag and applying pressure as you slowly work about the bag. This will continue to flatten it.
