How Do You Fix Xbox 360 Dvd Drive Please?
Basically the 360 shares a security code which pairs the dvd drive to the xbox, if you buy a new drive to replace yours, you will need to extract the security key from your old drive and flash it onto you new drive. It’s not really a thing for someone who’s not experienced in doing this, you’ll be best off finding someone near you who mods 360’s. alternatively if you know exactly which model dvd drive you have ( you will need to open your 360 to find out) if you can buy an identical model drive then you can just swap over the pcb containing the security chip.
