How Do You Fix Washable Markers And Permanent Markers?
I used to get so annoyed with my kids for leaving the lids off their markers. I didn’t want to waste my money buying more when they hadn’t even taken care of the ones they had. Then I went to the Crayola Factory and found out that you can fix dried out markers. Here’s how. Step 1 To fix washable markers, dip the dried ends one at a time into a cup of water. Watch the water until you see a trace of ink leaking from the marker. Then take it out of the water and put the cap on it. Leave it alone for 15 minutes so that the moisture can travel through the ink barrel. Do NOT shake the marker. Test it on a piece of paper. If it isn’t fixed, repeat the process. Step 2 To fix permanent markers, follow the same procedure as step one except use rubbing alcohol instead of water. Step 3 Keep any spare marker lids that you have, even if the markers are ruined. Chances are you’ll need them in the future.
