How Do You Fix Uneven Refrigerator Doors?
Do your double refrigerator doors rub together when closing, or not seal correctly? Or maybe your refrigerator itself just wobbles. Fixing uneven refrigerator doors is not nearly as hard as it seems. You just have to ascertain if it’s the doors or the unit itself that’s out of alignment. As with any project involving an electrical appliance, make sure the unit is unplugged. Place the level on the top front edge of the refrigerator. If the doors are even but the refrigerator itself is uneven, pull the unit out slightly from the wall–far enough for you to be able to tip it backward a few inches. Tilt the refrigerator back and (using the pliers, if needed) adjust either the right or left left leg to reach the needed level (i.e., if the refrigerator is lower on the left, you will screw out the leg on the left, or turn to the left) .
