The Windows System32 folder holds the files that are used to communicate between the Windows operating system and the programs that run on it. One of the more common problems Windows users experience involves the Windows System32 folder opening every time you log in to the Windows operating system. Generally this is due to an incomplete or invalid entry in the Windows Registry. Click on the “Start” menu. Click on “Run.” Type “regedit” (without the quotation marks) into the open box and click “OK.” The Registry Editor will open. Locate the following registry key in the left pane of the Registry Editor and click on it: “[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]” Scroll the list of entries that appear in the right pane of the Registry Editor and delete the invalid entries.
