The Dyson DC07 is fitted with a roller, also called the “brush bar,” which rotates and sweeps dust and debris into the vacuum. The roller is partly held in place by a belt. If the belt is off track for any reason, the roller will not rotate properly. Accessing the roller and belt also provides an opportunity to clear the roller of bits of string, yarn, and other debris that may have become entangled. Unplug the vacuum before beginning any work.
