How Do You Fix Spray Tan Mistakes?
You wanted to look tanned and toned this summer in your bikini and short skirts. Knowing that the sun can be damaging, you opted for a spray tan but it didn’t come out perfect like you had hoped. You have streaks or orange hands – what can you do to fix it? Read on to learn how to erase those mistakes so you have the perfect summer glow. Step 1 If you have streaks from your tanner, cut a lemon into wedges and rub one along the streak. The acidity will pick up the extra color. Also, a cotton ball soaked in toner (astringent) will achieve the same effect. Step 2 If your hands or feet are orange, scrub them with a brush or pumice – something to exfoliate the thick skin. Step 3 If your tan generally looks uneven, orange-y or spotty, try gently exfoliating your skin with a body scrub followed by a thick moisturizer.
