How Do You Fix Spell Check For Outlook Express?
Although Outlook Express doesn’t have a spell check function that comes installed with the program, it can use the spell check from Microsoft Office or Microsoft Works. If you don’t have either of these programs on your computer, you will not be able to use spell check with Outlook Express. Even when you use Outlook Express with the spell check from Office or Works, you may get a message saying “An error occurred while the spelling was being checked.” The error is caused by a missing file called csapi3t1.dll. Download a copy of the csapi3t1.dll file. (See Resources for a link.) Choose “Save” in the download box and select a location to put the file. Double-click the file to install it and let the installation wizard take you through the steps. Click “Run” in the first window and then “Yes” when asked if you want to install it. Restart Windows. Once the computer has rebooted, open Outlook Express. Click on “Tools,” “Options” and then “Spelling” in Outlook. Select the “Always check spell
