How Do You Fix Shoe Scuffs With Marker?

0

If you ever find that one of your shoes is significantly scuffed but you don’t have time to run to the store and buy shoe polish, there is a relatively easy fix. Using a colored marker is an old trick to fix those scuffed shoes easily. Step 1 Prepare the work area. You will need to lay out some newspaper on a flat surface, or a tiled floor will work just fine. Step 2 Wipe the shoes down. Dampen a paper towel with water and use it to wipe any excess dirt or dust off the shoes prior to fixing the scuffs. Step 3 Color in the scuffs using the marker. Depending on the color of your shoes, you will need to use either a brown or a black marker. Simply color in the scuff marks with the marker and blot the excess ink using a dry paper towel. Step 4 Allow shoes to dry. Once you have finished coloring in all the noticeable scuff markings, allow the shoes to dry in a well ventilated area for at least 30 minutes.
