Registry problems can bring an otherwise fast computer to a screeching halt. This guide will show you how to fix or remove them easily and free. Step 1 Download CCleaner and install. Step 2 Double-click the CCleaner shortcut icon placed on your desktop after installation. Step 3 Left-click the “Registry” icon located on the left side of the program window. Step 4 Click the “Scan for Issues” button located at the bottom middle of the program window. Step 5 Once the scanning is completed, click the “Fix Selected Issues” button located at the bottom of the program window. Step 6 Shut down the CCleaner software and restart to computer once the corrections are complete.
