How Do You Fix Problems In Windows XP Professional Safe Mode?
Windows XP Professional can become unstable or unusable for reasons including user error, application conflicts and attacks by malicious code such as viruses. When this occurs, it may no longer be possible to boot the computer into Windows to correct the problem. In that case, you can still fix problems in Windows XP Professional by booting the computer into safe mode and using the system restore tool to undo any damage to the operating system. Step 1 Turn off the computer you want to fix if it is not already off. Start the computer and press the “F8” key after you start the computer but before Windows begins to load.
