Autodesk Inventor software programs on your Gateway laptop computer can become corrupt over time due to user error, such as accidentally deleting an important file; malicious programs; or partial hardware failure, such as a hard drive problem corrupting files. Fix any or all of these issues by reinstalling the Autodesk Inventor software to your laptop, rewriting the old files with fresh, working copies. Place the Autodesk Inventor CD into your Gateway laptop and select “Install Products.” Check “Autodesk Inventor” and click “Accept” to the license terms. Enter your product key and select the AutoCAD options you wish to use, for example, imperial versus metric standards. Restart the Gateway laptop when the reinstallation of Inventor is complete.
