How Do You Fix Falling Or Droopy Sun Visors?

0

As a car ages, those sun visors start to sag. Some have screws that you can tighten. For the ones without screws, here is what to do. • Use Velcro with tape on the other side. • Try a stiffer solution. If that won’t work (because it’s too heavy or it’s the wrong type of material), try to insert a piece of metal to hold it. A thin stick of aluminum, cut with dikes to the correct length can work well. Bend it so that one side fits into the car’s molding (the top of the window) and the other side covers a small portion of the visor. Be sure that you can move the piece of metal just enough so that you can use the visor when you need it.
