Headlight lenses, the plastic cover protecting the headlight bulb, can become dull from wear and tear, scratches and oxidation. Dull lenses look cloudy, hazy and discolored, which prevents the headlight beam from shining as brightly as possible on the road ahead. With a professional headlight lens cleaning product, you can easily make your headlight lenses look like new. Step 1 Insert the buffer attachment into the standard drill. It is easier and better to use a small buffer on a headlight lens rather than a regular size car wax buffer. Step 2 Squeeze a quarter-size amount of headlight lens cleaner onto the buffing pad. Step 3 Place the buffer pad on the headlight lens and turn on the drill. Buff the cleaning product into the lens using small circular motions for about 30 seconds.
