Although LCD televisions offer a better picture resolution than the older projection televisions, you can experience a variety of different image issues you never went through with your older television. If you are watching your TV and notice a small spot on the LCD that is either all white or all black, this spot is due to the pixel dying. There are two different way to fix this. The first requires a firmware update for your TV. The second actually requires you to take the TV into a shop and have the repair technicians fix this single pixel. Doing the later is extremely expensive and it may be cheaper to simply purchase a new LCD TV.
