How Do You Fix Common Furnace Problems?
Don’t be left in the cold. A large percentage of service calls can be avoided. Learning how to fix the most common furnace problems yourself can keep you warm and save money. Step 1 Check the thermostat by doing the following; • Make sure the thermostat is on “heat” • Verify the room temperature (where the thermostat is located) is cooler than the thermostat temperature setting • If you have a programmable thermostat, verify the program has the correct day/time and the program is “running” • If you have a thermostat with a battery, verify the battery is good.
