How Do You Fix An Xbox 360S Disk Drive?
Many things can go wrong with the Xbox 360s DVD drive. Figuring out what is wrong with the unit can take time. Making a specific repair such as replacing a laser or a spinning unit could be quite difficult. Replacing the entire drive takes less time than repairing a specific part, and it saves the user the trouble of figuring out exactly why the DVD cannot read the drives. Step 1 Remove the case from the Xbox 360. This gives you access to all the parts inside. Step 2 Remove the power and data cables from the back of the DVD drive. Take the drive out of the Xbox 360. Step 3 Use the screwdriver to remove the screws from the bottom of the case. This allows you to take apart the case. Take off the top of the case and note a card that sits on top of the drive.
