Like any piece of furniture, swivel chairs may need repair after being used over an extended period of time. Often, squeaks arise in these chairs, and they can be an annoyance in a work setting. The problem can typically be located in the joints of the chair where there is little lubrication. Within a few minutes, however, this problem can be easily solved with a can of WD-40. You don’t have to be an experienced handy man to get rid of a few pesky squeaks. Getting rid of the squeak Step 1 Flip the chair over so you can see all of the constructed areas. Be sure to wear gloves because parts of your chair may already come with greased nuts and bolts, and the gloves will save you a mess.
