How Do You Fix A Slow Filling Clothes Washer?
Does it appear that your clothes washer is running more sluggishly than usual? If your sinks are running fine and your dishwasher is filling up fine, but your clothes washer seems to be filling up with water much slower than it used to then it could mean your inlet screen is clogged up. This is a fairly simple fix. Step 1 Unplug the clothes washer and pull it away from the wall. Very important make sure you unplug it. Step 2 The water valves to the washer are located on the wall behind the washer. Turn off both of the water valves; also very important. Step 3 Locate the hoses on the back of your washers. The hose couplings are what attach the hose to the washer. Loosen the couplings using the pliers and remove the hoses. Step 4 Look for the inlet screens, they are tiny little screens you should find them either inside the washer (the inlet valve) where you pulled the hose out or in the hose couplings.
