you must have gotten some data corruption in your download because I haven’t heard of anyone getting this from downloading life with playstation , try the recovery menu and restore the file system or restore ps3 settings . you might need to pull the hdd and reinstall it too .btw , life with playstation isn’t firmware related , it’s a separate app like playstation home or a game download so trying to change your firmware won’t do anything with corrupt data on the hard drive .
