If you have a leak, it is just a matter of taking out a cartridge and putting in a new one. The valve parts are all contained in this cartridge. Turn off the water supply at the house. Detach the handle cap that covers the handle retention screws with a standard screwdriver. Undo the handle retention screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Disconnect the handle by sliding it off. Twist and pull the sleeve to remove it by hand or use a snub nose pliers to pull it out. Unscrew by hand brass bonnet nut by hand and remove. If it is on too tight, use a pair of pliers.
