Some viruses on your computer have the nasty tendency to redirect your Google searches to other websites. An example of this is the Go.Google virus, which redirects you to an advertising page whenever you try to go to many common websites like Google.com or Yahoo.com. Fortunately, this virus can be easily removed using some free software and just a bit of your time. Step 1 Download Malwarebytes’ free anti-malware program onto a computer that is not infected with the virus. Transfer it to a CD, USB thumb drive or other external storage medium. Step 2 Start your infected computer and press the F8 key as it boots up. You will see a boot menu appear with several boot choices. Select the one that says “Safe Mode with Networking” and press “Enter.” Step 3 Wait for the operating system to load; log in with your administrator username and password. Step 4 In your infected computer, insert the CD, thumb drive or other device on which you saved the Malwarebytes installation file. Run the install
