When your dryer is not heating up more than likely the issue is your heating element. This is a common problem that most people are afraid to handle. Heating elements are not repairable so when they go out, they have to be replaced. You can save yourself some money by fixing or installing a new dryer heating element. Disconnect the dryer from the power source before beginning any work. You can disconnect from the wall outlet, from the fuse box or by flipping the circuit breaker.
