How Do You Fix A Computer When The Cursor Is Frozen?
They say to err is human, but to really mess things up takes a computer. Nothing is more frustrating than to have a computer freeze, shut off with no warning, or, worse, crash completely. One of the more common errors a PC will give you is the freezing of the monitor. With a few simple troubleshooting tips, you can overcome that. Step 1 Press Crtl-Alt-Delete (at the same time). This will give you a box generally used to terminate programs. Using the arrows, if you can, shut down all programs running (i.e., Word, Internet Explorer, etc.). Sometimes, it is an error within the programs or with your computer trying to process them all at once that causes your computer to freeze. This is especially true if you have low RAM (anything less than 500 or so MB or RAM). Step 2 Turn off your computer and restart it.
