How Do You Fix A Back Window Wiper?
Messy back auto window? Keeping that back window clean is essential to safe driving. Sometimes the blade will hit at first, but as it moves to the top of the window, it doesn’t press down, therefore leaving a huge mess right where you need to look. If your rear window wiper only hits part of your rear window, here’s an EASY fix. Step 1 If your wiper blade is more than 6 months to a year old, replace it. This is usually pretty easy if you follow the directions on the package. Pull the wiper arm up away from the window. Remove the clip from the blade. Twist and pull to get the old blade off. Slide the new blade onto the arm and replace the clip. Step 2 If the blade still doesn’t hit the whole window, spray all pivot points on the wiper arm with WD-40 (or other lubricant). Try not to overspray the oil onto the window or blade. Step 3 Move all the pivot points to work the oil in. That’s it! Give it a try. This easy fix works wonders.
