How Do You Fit A Scope Railed Receiver Cover To An SKS Rifle?
Receiver covers with rail-style mounts allow you to easily attach a scope to your SKS rifle. Railed receiver covers are available with a single rail or with a tri-rail system that gives you the option of adding accessories (such as a laser or flashlight) along with your scope. The replacement covers are made to the same specifications as the original. Installation of your new receiver cover is simply a matter of removing the old receiver and replacing it with the new one. Ensure that your rifle is unloaded. Rotate the pin located at the end of the receiver cover till it’s vertical and pull it out. If the pin does not move freely, it might be necessary to pry it away from the receiver before it can be rotated. Pull the receiver cover rearward and remove it. Slide your new railed receiver cover onto your SKS from the rear. Rotate the receiver cover pin down to the locked position. Your new railed receiver cover is now installed.
