How Do You Fish From A Kayak?
Fish from a kayak just once and you’ll be… well, hooked! Fishing from a kayak gives you stealth and a range of movement you just don’t have in a boat. Hide out in small brush, or cruise unnoticed in shallow lily pads. Big bass beware when you fish from a kayak. Load the kayak with a fishing pole, pole holder and throw bag for safety. Also buy a kayak that has a comfortable seat and rod holder already installed for longer days of fishing. Use the storage wells of the kayak to store bait, gear, lures and other fishing gear. Paddle your kayak into shallow areas, around lakes and near brush. Fish the kayak as if you are wading the river, moving slowly and evenly fishing every area your kayak can reach. Use a paddle kayak for better and easier movement in the water. Fishing and paddling can get difficult and is not as productive or fun!
