The easiest way of solving one of these puzzles really takes no brain power at all, and when your friends and family ask you how in the world you solved it so brilliantly without pulling your hair out, you should just smile mysteriously and tell them that it is your little secret. Twist the top face of the cube so that it is at a 45-degree angle. Work the tip of the pen under one of the middle side squares and pop it off. Remove all of the remaining small cube pieces from the Rubik’s Cube. Choose one color and replace the center cubes on that color’s face so that you have a cross. Do not replace the corner cubes yet. Turn the cube over so that the cross is facing down, and put the corner pieces into place with the correctly colored side facing down so that it aligns correctly
