You can figure out how much flooring you will need in a square room by using this formula. If your room is rectangle, check out my other article to figure out the area of a rectangle room. The formula is Area equals Side x Side, A = S X S Measure the room and make sure it is a square as two sides will be the same length, for example 10 x 10. Multipy, Area = 10 x 10 10 x 10 = 100, thus the area is 100 square feet.
