How Do You Find Someones Cell Phone Provider?
Cell-phone information isn’t as readily accessible as home numbers. You can’t simply look in the white pages to find out which cell-phone provider a person uses. Perhaps you missed a call on your cell phone from a number you don’t recognize, or you want to buy someone a brand-new phone and don’t know who their provider is. All you need is a computer and the phone number and you can find the provider in less than 1 minute. Log onto the Fone Finder website. (See the link in Resources.) In the appropriately marked boxes, enter the area code, the prefix and the seventh number in the phone number. (For example, if the number is 555-867-5309, you would enter 555-867-5.) Click the “Search by Number” box. The website will begin processing the information. Read the information in the “Telephone Company Web link” box.
