There are miles of gorgeous and relaxing horse trails in Griffith Park, located in Southern California. Get familiar with some of the trails available and take you and your horse on a peaceful ride. Find the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank. The first street Southwest of the Center is Mariposa. Hang a left on Mariposa and go to the dead end. There is a suspension bridge across the L.A. River. Cross the bridge and take a right. Follow the trail under the freeway, and under the road (two tunnels). Take a left out of the second tunnel. Take a right past the log arena, which is right in front of you. Go under another tunnel straight ahead. You will now be right at the edge of the Griffith Park Trail. Go right into the mountains. Off this trail, you can take many offshoots and find all sorts of hidden areas. Keep track of your lefts and rights so you know how to get down safely. You can even ride over the mountains and see the famous Hollywood sign. You can also start right at Trave
