How Do You Find Golf Balls In Water Hazards?
When you spend the day dropping brand new balls in to the drink, it’s nice to know that the golf course offers you a chance at redemption…via the water hazard. There are a number of ways to reclaim your lost property or that of some other hack unlucky enough to find the water. Take off your shoes. For this exercise in ball retrieval, shoes will only hamper your ability to feel the balls with your main ball finding instrument…your toes. Wade in and start feeling around. You’ll be amazed by the number of golf balls most water hazards keep locked up in their mucky depths. Grab balls with your toe and then haul them up to your hands. Or, take the plunge and go under in order to grab them. Place the balls in a bag or bucket. Check your feet for leaches. Water hazards are famous for two things: massive amounts of golf balls and major league leaches. Pour salt on the leeches and they’ll shrivel up and retract their teeth from your feet.
