Washington is a great city for tourists, because so many attractions are free. The city offers several free guided tours to some of the city’s best tourist attractions. Take a free walking tour of the monuments with the group DC by Foot. The tours are offered on The Mall daily at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Meet near the Washington Monument at the northeast corner of 15th Street and Constitution Avenue NW. Tours are 1 hour 15 minutes and wrap up at the Lincoln Memorial. Obtain free tickets to tour the White House.
