How Do You Find Free Guided Tours Of Washington, DC?
Washington is a great city for tourists, because so many attractions are free. The city offers several free guided tours to some of the city’s best tourist attractions. Take a free walking tour of the monuments with the group DC by Foot. The tours are offered on The Mall daily at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Meet near the Washington Monument at the northeast corner of 15th Street and Constitution Avenue NW. Tours are 1 hour 15 minutes and wrap up at the Lincoln Memorial. Obtain free tickets to tour the White House. Tickets are available Tuesday through Saturday at the White House Visitor’s Center located at the southeast corner of 15th and E streets NW. Tours are in the morning only. The visitor’s center opens at 7:30 a.m. A limited number of tickets are distributed daily.
