How Do You Find And Buy A Classic Corvette?
Over the years I have learned a few things about classic, and corvettes are no accept ion, I find that people get over excited, and just hand over the money, before they have done a through inspection of the car. The first step is always to look long enough to find more then one of the year of corvette that your looking for, make sure that it’s represented as being what your looking for. Check the numbers, make sure that somebody hasn’t modified the car to make it look like it’s what they are representing as, make sure that the engine, transmission, and rear end belong in the car that they are in. Check the paint code to make sure that the colour on the car is correct, inspect the interior to make sure that it’s all these, and in condition that matches the represented mileage of the car. Put the corvette up on a rack, and take a look at the brakes, follow all of the brake lines checking for leaks, check the rotors for ware while the corvette is on the rack.
