Anyone that has gone into Archaeology knows how hard it can be to find a job after graduation. Here I have put together a few ideas on how to find a job and what you will need first before you apply. What you will need first before applying for an Archaeology job is a BA in Anthropology specializing in Archaeology. Its always a plus to have a Minor or second major too in fields like geology, history, biology, etc.. Another thing you will need to do while in school is take a field school. Field School teaches you everything you need to know about a traditional dig and its your first real experience unless you have volunteered before. Next you will need a CV or Resume typed up, saved and a few printed out to take with you to every interview. Then start searching and calling around.
