How Do You Find A Volvo Radio Model Number?
Each Volvo factory car radio comes with a serial and model number. Both numbers are unique and printed on the body of the radio. Volvo radios, like other radios, will eventually require maintenance. If you need to order parts for the radio or you misplaced the radio’s security code, you will need the model number off of the radio. To find the model number on your Volvo radio, you must remove the radio from the dashboard. Remove the two knobs on the front of the radio–AM/FM adjuster and volume control. Remove the rings behind the knobs. Place the knobs and rings on the floorboard of your Volvo. Shine a flashlight on each side of the radio to locate a set of metal spring tabs. Press tabs inward with two thin-blade screwdrivers. Press the tabs toward the middle of the radio. The springs will release. If you have a recent model Volvo (940 and up), the radio has two narrow slots on either side of the faceplate. Pull the radio out slowly as you press on the metal tabs. To get a better grip
