The Oregon Coast is a popular year-round tourist attraction. During the months of May through August, however, it can be difficult to find a home on the coast. However, depending on your needs and your willingness to do some groundwork, finding a home–even during tourist season–is completely possible. Know where you want to go or research the Oregon Coast to find what you are looking for, especially if visiting during the May through September tourist season. Start early in the year, sometime between January and March, especially if you are planning on visiting during a popular weekend, like Memorial Day. Find out the closest community so you have an alternate plan, just in case you started late and can’t find what you need in your target location.
