How Do You Find A Reading For A Wedding Ceremony?
A ceremony reading is a piece of prose or poetry that is read aloud during the wedding ceremony. It can be religious or secular in nature and is usually read by a close friend or family member who is not in the wedding party as a way to honor said family member or friend. Look for readings that have a special meaning to you as a couple. You are the focus of the day and therefore the readings should completely reflect who you are and what you believe in. Be appropriate and true to the formality of your ceremony. Comedy is great but may not be a good idea for a formal wedding, at least during the ceremony readings.
