The Microsoft Office suite contains many of the world’s most widely used productivity applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access. Due in part to its widespread popularity and relatively high price, early versions of Office were often pirated and installed by users who did not purchase a license. To help fight piracy, modern editions of the software require the entry of a 25-character product key during the setup process to validate ownership. If you cannot locate the key value on the sticker attached to your installation disc case, find it by using one of several free key-finding programs.
