Here’s how to find a good work study job at college. You are usually given a choice of work study careers, and you need to work the selection process to your advantage. The worst work study jobs are in cafeterias and janitorial positions. Forget it about them. You didn’t go to college to clean floors. The best looking work study jobs on your resume are TA and research assistant jobs. Find a teacher you really like, and ask if you can use work study to be a TA, or their research assistant.
