How Do You Find A Banks Routing Number?
Knowing your bank’s routing number is necessary for any type of electronic banking transaction. The routing number is a unique nine-digit code assigned to every bank by the American Bankers Association to identify it and facilitate the electronic transfer of funds. Look at one of your checks to find your bank’s routing number. It’s a nine-digit number printed in electronic lettering at the bottom left-hand corner of each check. Your account number will be to its right. Log on to RoutingTool.com and look up your bank’s routing number there. Click on the free version and type in the name of your bank after logging in to the system. Your bank’s routing number should come up immediately. Call your bank’s customer service department and ask for the routing number. Go to your local branch and ask for the number. A representative of the bank should be able to easily provide this information for you.
