Making your own lip gloss is a popular hobby today, but after mixing up lip gloss, it is typical for the maker to avoid filling tubes because it is easier to fill up small containers and use fingertips for application. However, filling lip gloss tubes is one obstacle that can quickly be overcome. All it takes is implementing useful tools, time and patience. Set the lip gloss tubes into the filling tray. The filling tray is a plastic tray that holds the tubes erect for filling. Use the syringe to suck up lip gloss out of the batch. Insert the end of the syringe into the opening on the lip gloss tube. Push down on the end of the syringe, filling up the tube. Use a wash rag to wipe excess gloss off of the top of the tube, and screw the lid on.
