How Do You Fill Kodak Ink Cartridges?
Many people who print large volumes, whether color images, black and white text documents, or a combination of the two, quickly discover that the cost of ink cartridge replacements can become higher than the original cost of the printer itself. If you need to print many different documents economically, you can refill ink cartridges instead of buying new ones. Kodak cartridges are harder to refill than many other brands because they don’t have easily accessed air holes and must actually be physically punctured. Remove the ink cartridge from the printer and set it down on a layer of paper towels. Put on the plastic gloves that come with the refill kit. Use the mini-drill or pin that came with the kit and push it down through the plastic top of the cartridge, at the top right corner near the “K” in “Kodak.” Fill the syringe with either the black ink or the appropriate color of ink, depending on which cartridge you are refilling.
