How do you feel about the California Supreme Court upholding Proposition 8?
Equal treatment is required by the California Constitution. I don’t understand the point of even having a Constitution is voter initiatives override it. Just leave everything up to popular vote. If equality can be voted down by simple majority, then the largest voting block in California should target each smaller minority and, one-by-one, strip everybody else’s rights. They might just as well take it to its logical conclusion and vote to take everything from all minorities and give it to themselves.
