He went so far as to question the team’s “effort, execution and will.” The apparent problem is that the team’s chemistry is not coming together at all smoothly, according to the Oregonian. Adding in Andre Miller(notes) and Juwan Howard(notes) from free agency and returning Martell Webster(notes) to the roster hasn’t proved to go over so well with the other players on the team. “We just look like we’ve never seen each other today,” Brandon Roy(notes) said. “Guys were making turnovers and looking at each other like, ‘Why weren’t you there?’ I don’t know.” Sounds like the early going this season may be rough in Portland.
