The October issue of French Vogue is TRES bigoted! The issue is dedicated to “supermodels.” So they chose Dutch model Lara Stone who is about as famous as Brooke Hogan’s TV friends.lara stone french vogue blackface model racist In other words – not so “super.” Instead of having any real supermodels who are black, the magazine had lovely Laura painted-up in blackface. For those people who do not know, blackface was used often in the early to mid-1900s to make actors darker to play characters of African, Latin, Middle Eastern or Asian descent because bigoted movie studio executives would not hire people of these descent groups for these roles. To top off the racism, the photographer is American Steven Klein. Unless he’s blind, deaf and dumb, he knows this practice is extremely offensive to many people. Maybe he’s not those things; maybe he’s just a dumbass.
