Mdf is a file format used by the program Alcohol 120%. It’s a virtual copy of a CD or DVD. In order to get access to the files inside the mdf, you will need a program that can extract these files for you. This is normally what your CD player would do, but because mdf is a virtual disc, you’ll need a virtual player to extract it. Download a virtual CD player. Examples include Alcohol 120% and Power Iso. Either one will take you to the program’s download page. Click on the big green text in the upper right that reads “Download Now.” Install your virtual CD program by opening the installation file you recently downloaded. Open the program by opening the shortcut file for it that should now be on your computer’s desktop. The program may also open automatically after installation.
